This young patient presented bite problems in the mixed dentition stage (mix of baby and permanent teeth), with ectopic eruption of upper incisors, anterior open bite, and posterior crossbite.

Early Interceptive Orthodontic treatment with removable appliances such as maxillary expander and lip bumper, allowed the orthodontists to modify jaw growth creating space for eruption of the permanent teeth well aligned. No braces were used in this treatment.

Over the years we have successfully treated children, teen's and adults with different dental and jaw problems.
This Gallery is a celebration of their beautiful new smiles.

Early Treatment or Phase I Orthodontics

This patient bite problems is more severe than it looks at first sight. Six lower anterior baby teeth were lost to make room for just 4 permanent incisors, leaving no space for the eruption of the permanent canines. Left untreated, this premature loss of the baby teeth could result in impacted canines that would required long treatment with braces and surgery to expose teeth and force them to move with braces.

Early Interceptive Orthodontic treatment with removable appliances such as maxillary expander and lip bumper, created space for eruption of all permanent teeth well aligned. No braces were used in this treatment.

This young patient presented severe crowding in both jaws, defficient growth of upper jaw resulting in anterior and posterior crossbites, and ectopic eruption of upper incisors.

Early Interceptive Orthodontic treatment with removable appliances such as expander, face mask and lip bumper to modify jaw growth creating space for eruption of the permanent teeth well aligned. No braces were used in this treatment.

Early Treatment or Phase I Orthodontics

This young patient presented a defficient growth of upper jaw resulting in a severe anterior crossbites.

Early Interceptive Orthodontic treatment included orthopedic appliances such as expanders and face mask to correct jaw growth and develop space for eruption of the permanent teeth well aligned. No braces were used in this treatment.

Comprehensive Orthodontic Treatment Teenagers

This teenager presented deficient growth of the lower jaw resulting in as severe increase in overjet (distance between upper and lower anterior teeth), deep bite (excess overlap of upper and lower anterior teeth) and a lower jaw deviation to the right side.

Comprehensive Orthodontic treatment with braces took advantage of growth during puberty to stimulate growth of lower jaw, correcting overjet and overbite, and the jaw deviation. At the end of treatment the patient received fixed retainers (glued to the tongue side of the teeth) and also removable retainers to help preserve the beautiful result.

Comprehensive Orthodontic Treatment Teenagers

This teenager presented severe problem with impacted upper right canine, crowding ectopic eruption of upper right premolar anterior crossbite, and lower jaw deviated to the right side.

Comprehensive Orthodontic with braces required extraction of one upper premolar, surgical exposure of the upper right canine that was brought into its normal position slowly with braces. After treatment the patients used removable retainers for many years and the beautiful new bite was preserved.

Comprehensive Orthodontic Treatment in Adults

This patient had a severe bite problem that included crowding, large overjet and posterior crossbite.

Braces were used in combination with expander and bone stimulation techniques such as micro-osteoperforations to reshape the upper jaw, and align all teeth into an ideal bite. The patient is using both fixed retainers (glued to the tongue side of the teeth) and removable retainers to preserve the treatment result.

Clear Aligners

This young Adult patient did not want to use braces to correct this bite problems that included narrow arches and rotated teeth.

While Comprehensive Orthodontic Treatment with Clear Aligners was longer than what it would with braces, our Orthodontists were able to expand the arches and align all teeth into a normal bite. The patient is using fixed retainers (glued to the tongue side of the tongue) and also removable retainers to preserve this beautiful result.

Limited Orthodontic Treatment in Adults

Sometimes patients don't want or do not need Comprehensive Orthodontic treatment. In these cases treatment can be accomplished with aligners or just active retainers.

This patient never had braces or clear aligners, and minor tooth movement was accomplished with active retainers to improve tooth alignment in a short period of time.

Accelerated Orthodontics

New tools developed by our Orthodontists can accelerate tooth movement in the jaws significantly reducing the duration of treatment.

This adult patient treatment with braces was accomplished in just 4 months. The patient received micro-osteoperforations with the regular braces adjustments to stimulate the bone surrounding the teeth allowing these to move extra fast.

Adult Orthodontic Treatment in Combination with Gingivectomy

This adult patient presented with crowding, with lower canines pushed out of alignment.

After Comprehensive treatment with fixed appliances, the patient was referred to a Periodontists for a gingivectomy to lengthen the crowns of the teeth and level the gingival margins considerably improving the smile esthetics. The patient is using fixed retainers (glued to the tongue side of the teeth) and removable retainers to maintain the treatment result.

Non-Surgical Adult Orthopedic and Orthodontic Treatment

This patient had a severe jaw deformity resulting in a large open bite that severely impacted the speech and chewing. Our group has pioneer techniques to treat this extreme problems without Maxillofacial Surgery.

Treatment included braces in combination with anchorage devices and micro-osteoperforations to stimulate bone around the moving teeth allowing them to move long distances while reshaping the bone of the jaws. The patient is using both fixed and removable retainers to preserve this amazing result.
