Cristina Teixeira, DMD, MS, PhD
Dr. Cristina Teixeira is Professor and Executive Dean at CTOR Academy and former Chair of the Department of Orthodontics at New York University. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, where she obtained her Dental Medicine Doctor’s Degree, a Masters Degree in Oral Biology, certificate in Orthodontics, and a Ph.D. in Developmental Biology.
Dr. Teixeira is a world-renowned expert in bone growth and tooth movement. She is co-founder of CTOR, a center dedicated to Translational Research in Orthodontics. CTOR team has developed new approaches and technological advances to accelerate tooth movement and for treatment of severe skeletal deformities, resulting in numerous patents. She is regularly invited to speak at national and international conferences and universities around the world. Her research has been supported by different foundations and by grants from the National Institute of Health.
Dr Teixeira's approach for early interceptive orthodontic treatment takes advantage of the child growth and modifies it to correct jaw position and size, and allow permanent teeth to erupt well-aligned. This approach, inspired by Dr. Teixeira’s research, avoids tooth extractions and the need for braces in the majority of cases.


Andreina Reimpell, DDS, OrthoCert
Dr. Reimpell received her Orthodontics Certificate in 2017 and has been working in private practice since then. Her specialty is in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, with expertise in early interceptive treatment. Dr. Andreina philosophy of care is to take advantage children's growth to correct jaw position and establish a normal bite during the child's development.

Dr Andreina also studied evidence-based medicine, and she keeps herself updated with the latest technological advances in the field. She is Assistant Professor at CTOR Academy in the Advanced Education Program in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.
